About Us

Chuck Russell, Chairman, Creator, & Co-Founder
When he created his first assessment back in 2002, Chuck knew he had found his purpose. Little did he know that this was the beginning of a long journey of quality mentors and partners building seven different psychometric instruments. These life experiences led him to develop the psychometric assessment we have today. The power of this DATA is because of its flexibility to be customized to any industry or job. It has sparked hundreds of product innovations from Chuck over the last 12 years.

Through his research and development, he has become a thought leader in the assessment industry on business practices and has reviewed hundreds of assessments. His mission has been to touch the lives of hundreds of millions of people so that they see themselves through their strengths, not their weaknesses. His superpower is creating innovative tools that change the world of cities, businesses, and individuals worldwide.

Chuck's passion is applying DATA solutions to global problems, such as employment, education, and SME failures. His current goal is designing data solutions that are used to inventory the strengths and abilities of workforces within companies, cities, and regions, enabling governments to use their resources more effectively.

He has had the honor of addressing international audiences in fascinating places like Katmandhu, Nepal and Goa, India, and many others. He has written two books, Right Person-Right Job, Guess or Know and No Bad Hires, Bad Hires are Now Optional.

If he has created anything of meaning, its inspiration and substance have come from his family and friends. He would not be where he is today without the love and support of his magnificent wife, Lauretta, and his two children, Jamey and Lacey.
Lacey Russell, CEO & Co-Founder
Growing up, she knew her purpose in this life was to help people in some way. That passion drew her to be fascinated by the concept of DATA. She interned every summer during college, growing her knowledge of data and its capabilities. Through her own experiences and conversations, she saw how understanding one's strengths could drastically change a person's life and shift the perspective of their self worth and purpose.

After graduating, she joined the company with a vision to build products that were universally affordable and accessible to anyone who needed them. Just as one's life does, the successes and failures she had in the business generated her idea for Try On Jobs. The idea led her to a serendipitous opportunity at the White House in 2015 as one of 150 global entrepreneurs. At the time, she thought this was the idea that was going to help people! Only, this was just the tip of the iceberg.

After a couple of years of the rollercoaster of emotions that come with building a new product, she was almost to the finish line. Then Covid happened. Looking back, it was perfect timing. After the months of slowing down and looking deep within, the goals became clear. That is how the concept of The Celebrate Strengths Project came to be. With every fiber of her being, she intends to change the world.

Throughout her seven years working in the business world, she has learned that what matters most in life are people. It's how we show compassion, love, and gratitude towards each other that makes life worth living. That is the essence and life lessons that drives everything she does in this company. She looks forward to sharing this vision and partnering with anyone who has a similar mission.
