The Unemployment & Employability Crisis.

Today, millions of people are unemployed or facing uncertainty in their job. People have started to rethink their career path or are forced to seek new employment. The problem comes down to the way we hire and assess talent. We base a person's value in a company by their experience. Experience is tricky now that thousands of people have had to pivot into entirely new job categories. This is also a hurtful factor when it comes to millions of college graduates. Before COVID, they could have started an internship or training program. Yes, online programs exist, but what happens when we pair no experience, a pandemic, and financial struggle? We get an unemployment crisis. A solution to this problem is using DATA to assess a person's hard-wired job capabilities. If you know someone has the job capabilities to do the job and might not have the experience, that is a low-risk hire. If millions of people knew their job capabilities, they could focus on jobs that fit them and discover new career paths. If companies hired with DATA, there would be more unbiased hiring and greater opportunities for all job seekers.
