DEAR JUNIORS, SENIORS, GRADS AND PARENTS,
First, we don’t want you to waste your time, money or capabilities in the wrong major or career. Instead of trying to figure out the "ultimate career" for you or tell you "it's about the journey," let's start with figuring out what you shouldn't do or what do you see yourself NEVER doing.
1. Understand your strengths and which major and careers you should avoid.
2. From there, cancel out anything that you would never see yourself doing. Note: avoid canceling out something just because it is too hard or seems intimidating. If you have the capability to do it, you CAN do it.
3. Listen, we understand that even if you have your heart set on something and your strengths don't line up, of course you can do it, but just know it's going to be challenging. That's all you need to know.
Maybe you're deciding how to narrow down your list of colleges. We help you do that based on your personality so you can decide between a big college or small college, more social activities or less, or a highly competitive community or a more relaxed one.
We know that it's an exciting/scary/weird transition going to college or getting a job or internship. We give you tips on how to beat any social or academic pitfalls you might have in college. Or, if you are getting a job, we give you tips on job seeking.
Whew. seriously, that process can be really stressful.
Parents, it is hard to communicate with your son or daughter. It's as though they are always wanting to grow up or something?! We know how special and important a great relationship with your teen is, so we created a special report telling you how to best communicate with your son or daughter. This will help your relationship and communication flourish during their college years and many more after that.
